We had brunch on a rather large floating restaurant

After a very early night on Friday, and an early run and workout on Saturday morning, we headed to Aberdeen to Brunch. I had been invited earlier in the week, I had always wanted to go to Jumbo, the floating restaurant. I had planned to attend brunch, have a light salad and coffee and then head out to met the girls in the evening in Central.

Brunch was not what I had expected. In the BEST possible surprise sort of way. It was a buffet. You paid a set amount and ate and drank all you wanted in the time slot 11-3. I have never seen so much yummy food in all my life. The variety was spectacular, from salads, to fresh sea food, to sushi, to curries, to eggs, to breads and cheese. The champagne flowed too. We were a group of 15 sat on a large round table on the Top Deck. The conversation, food and champagne were of the highest calibre. Time disappeared as our tummies grew. The champagne continued to come, bottle by bottle.

After hours and hours of eating all we could and drinking more than we all probably should, we jumped into taxis to head back to Happy Valley to enjoy the boys roof terrace and continue the party. We danced, and sang and played beer pong until the day turned into night and we all ran out of energy.

A wonderful impromptu day with friends in Hong Kong. I shall be taking visitors to Jumbo! Watch out......
